2025 THEME

Welcome to 2025 – Our Year of His Harvest

The dawn of a new year brings fresh opportunities, renewed hope, and a prophetic declaration that sets the tone for what lies ahead. At Jesus House Solano, we are stepping into 2025 with great expectation and purpose, embracing the promise and calling of His Harvest.

In Matthew 9:38, Jesus makes an earnest plea:
“Therefore pray the Lord of the harvest to send out laborers into His harvest.”

This verse serves as our anchor for the year. It is both an invitation and a challenge to partner with God in gathering the bountiful harvest He has prepared. As believers, we are called to be laborers in His vineyard, actively sowing, watering, and reaping for His Kingdom. But what does this look like in practical terms?

Understanding the Harvest

The concept of harvest is deeply rooted in biblical teachings, symbolizing both the blessings of God and the gathering of souls into His Kingdom. While physical harvests signify God’s provision, the spiritual harvest represents the fulfillment of His promise to save and restore humanity.

The harvest is plentiful, but it requires willing hands and hearts ready to labor. This year, we are committing to:

  • Soul Winning: Sharing the Gospel with those who are yet to experience the transformative power of Christ.
  • Discipleship: Nurturing and strengthening believers to grow in faith and live as Christ’s ambassadors.
  • Service: Using our gifts, time, and resources to meet the needs of others and advance the Kingdom.

Partnering with the Lord of the Harvest

The beauty of this divine partnership is that God equips us for the work. He provides the seed, the rain, and the increase. Our role is to remain faithful, prayerful, and diligent.

Here’s how we can position ourselves for His Harvest:

  1. Pray Earnestly
As Jesus instructed, we must pray for laborers. This includes asking God to equip and send us into the fields He has prepared.
  2. Live Intentionally
Every moment of our lives can be an opportunity to reflect God’s love and point others to Christ. Let’s live with a Kingdom focus.
  3. Serve Selflessly
Whether in church, at work, or in our communities, let’s seize opportunities to serve others and share the Good News.
  4. Stay Connected
Fellowship with other believers strengthens us for the work. Together, we can achieve far more for His Kingdom than we ever could alone.

A Year of Expectation

2025 is not just another year; it is a divinely orchestrated season of harvest. As we walk in faith and obedience, we can anticipate breakthroughs, restored relationships, spiritual growth, and an outpouring of His blessings.

At Jesus House Solano, we are committed to walking this journey together. Whether through prayer meetings, outreach programs, discipleship classes, or acts of service, every effort will be geared toward fulfilling this mandate.

Let’s stay expectant and aligned with His purpose. God’s faithfulness never fails, and His harvest is ready. Are you?
